Games will be one or two Saturdays a month (depending on availability) start off using Roll.net
Character Will Be 36 Hero Points.
A while back DC comics did the unthinkable and shook the DC comics world by having their iconic Paragon SUPERMAN, Die in defense of the city. This like a lot of comic book deaths has been cheapened by the return and or resurrection of the heroes making their deaths seem almost meaningless in the end. but for a short time there, before Superman came back his death echo'ed through the pages of the comics, and in my mind there was a lot of lost opportunity for some awesome stories in a world "in mourning" of such an icon. That being said, the valiant city setting i will be running will be such a setting. yes Valiant City is metaphor of Metropolis. and Valiant city at one time had its Hero. (i have not yet came up with a name but i will edit this when i do). this hero defended Valiant city and the world for many years until an alien invasion came to earth and nearly destroyed Valiant city in an invasion. The Hero of the city gave his life in defending the city and he managed to stop the invasion. so Valiant cit lost its hero and in 3 years crime has risen. at this time the government stepped in by forming the NAEP ( National Association of Enhanced Paranormals) This task force assigns, coordinates, and keeps heroes of America in tune with each other. it was through this new network that many new "teams" have been formed to watch over locations in need of heroes, or in the current case a city who lost her's. NAEP assessment determined that a single hero would most likely not be successful for the scope of rehabilitation that Valiant city needs. So they put together a task force Code named Demon Force.
1/4 of Valiant city is in ruins, this part of the city has been walled off and quarantined from civilian exposure. at this walls main gate a memorial was erected to honor the sacrifice of the Hero, and civilians who died in this invasion.
