Hi All, I have created a character sheet generator for PnP. This is an Excel sheet that lets you choose your information and then pushes it to a character sheet. It's not perfect but it's a start. Please take a look at it and let me know what you think. Save the file to your computer, open it, read the instructions tab, have fun. The only way I could test this was against the pre-generated character sheets that were available for download. I hit the mark on 6 of them but on 6 of the characters I could not get my spreadsheet to equal the number of hero dice spent for the description provided. All of these character sheets are in this Excel file and the differences I come up with are listed below. In the case of Sky Hunter, his listed abilities put him 10 hero dice over. Maybe I'm just not understanding something. Here is my list of my test heroes that have an over or under hero dice score. Sky Hunter -10 Nereidian +1 Parthia -2 Stronghold -6 Gatecrasher -3 Pandora -1 Let me know if there are any issues. Thanks Opticus V1_7 PNP Character Sheet Generator.xlsx (401.49 KB)

Started tinkering with the sheet and I think I caught a glitch.
Pros and cons are counted once, not per level. So a trait at 10d with a -2 con costs 6 HD (8 minus 2 for the con). I'm not sure, but the sheet seems to be doing the latter.

The spreadsheet will take the cost into account for pros/cons and calculate the remaining hero dice from what is chosen. For example, if someone chooses the Super Trait Ensnare with the CON: Immobilize and they desire to have this at 10d. It will cost to get the Ensnare to 10d, and -2d to add the immobilize CON. So in a sense what has been spent is 6d in Hero Dice. The spreadsheet will reflect this in the upper right hand corner and should reflect only 6 dice spent instead of 8. The -2d cost is for the CON taken to get Immobilize as a added option to Ensnare. If I am correct in my thinking, the PRO/CON has an additional cost to take it, it doesn't affect the original cost of the trait that it applies to. Is this thinking correct? Thanks again and thanks for looking at the spreadsheet! Opticus.

Okay, here's the specific steps I took to illustrate what I found.
I went to the "Blank Datasheet" tab. On the first row of the "Super Traits" section, I selected "Solid Form (C) {CON-Dense}" as my trait and entered 8 for the Quantity.
The Cost per Level(?) cell lists "-2" and the Total Cost is "-16". The total cost should be 14 (8*2-2). The Con is applied once, not per level.

It modifies the trait that it applies to either in a good way (PRO) or not so good way (CON). You need to select the Solid Form trait first and put 8 in the quantity field. Now on the next line choose the Dense (CON) and put a 1 in the quantity field. This will show a total of 14 hero dice used to get your Solid Form to 10d and it will reflect the return of 2 hero dice (-2) for you to place somewhere else. I hope this makes sense. Thanks Opticus

Ah! Okay, the instructions were not clear in that regard. Thanks!

Noted.. I will change the instructions in the next iteration.
I was going to have it set the Pros/Cons so they couldn't be leveled like that to avoid confusion but some of them allow multiple purchase options. I am still working on an idea to do that but haven't implemented it yet.
Thanks for the feedback. Opticus
