Here are some new pros and cons:
Effect (+1D)
The power can be used to create some innocuous but useful special effect, such as generating light by which you can see. If you don’t have a suitable power, you can turn this mod into its own 1d perk.
Homing (varies)
This pro applied to Blast enables a failed roll to be re-rolled at the start of the next page. This requires no action to do so, and the attack may be re attempted in this way for a number of pages equal to the hero dice invested in this pro.
Persistent (varies)
This pro is taken for Blast or Strike and represents attacks which continue to harm or damage a target after the initial attack, such as toxins, napalm, corrosive acid or a Dim Mak martial art strike. If a target takes damage from your attack, at the start of each further page, they must use a passive defence (Typically Toughness or Willpower) against damage equal to the hero dice invested in this pro, until an attack is fully defended against, losing 1D each further page. A target only needs to defend against the highest persistent attack, even if suffering from the effects of more than one such attack.
Imbue (+4D)
Applied to powers that normally affect only your own body (like Invisibility or Phasing), this pro lets you affect other characters and objects by touching them. You can affect as much material as you could lift with a Might rank equal to your Willpower rank. Imbuing an object or character takes an action, and any powers gained last until the end of the current scene.
Self-Directed (varies)
Usually applied to attack powers, this pro means that the power has a mind of its own and can perform its own separate attack during any page in which you don’t actively use it. The power acts on your Edge but rolls 1d for every hero dice put into this pro to attack (up to the trait's rank) when you aren’t directing it. You may spend Resolve on this attack as if you are making the roll.
Tangible (+4D)
This pro can be applied to physical powers making them usable, even when intangible or phasing.
Personal (+1d)
For whatever reason (access codes, genetic tagging, worthiness, etc.), you are the only person who can use the item.
Returning (+2d)
When applied to Strike with the item con, this means that the weapon can be used to perform ranged attacks, and will somehow return to you after each throw.
Summoned (+1d)
Applied to a power with the Item con, you don’t actually carry the weapon or item around. Instead, you instantly summon it to you whenever you need it.
Throwing (+1d)
When applied to Strike with the item con, the weapon can be used to perform ranged attacks, although you’ll need to recover the weapon after throwing it.
