Hey all!
I'm going to be running my first game soon and my players have started pitching their ideas to me. One of them basically wants bone control powers; grow bone spikes and shields and the like, but uniquely, they pitched the idea of a power where they shoot a bone shard, and should it hit a target with a skeleton, they control them like a 'bone puppet'.
I was thinking that this should be like Mind Control, but as it's basically hijacking the body instead of the brain, the target rolls with toughness instead of willpower (also because of the bone shard shot at them) and they don't get the +2/-2 from if the target is inclined to an action or not.
Does this sound reasonable to people? Should it be a Pro/Con that costs something? Also, should it just target toughness or also Athletics/Armour? I was also thinking about the fact it can't control robots, so would also have limited effect on cyborgs, is that Con-worthy?
Thanks in advance!

I would be inclined to use Blast (Edged) with the Carrier Attack pro. The carrier attack would be Elemental Control (Bone). Blast representing the initial bone spike flying towards the target. Provided 1 point of damage was inflicted against the target, the carrier attack would kick in and allow the character to roll for Elemental Control for any target with bones. You might want to take the Situational con for Elemental Control if you only want this power to be used in only conjunction with the Blast / Carrier Attack. This is my personal (and expensive) take on it - Hope this helps! **Edit:** There are going to be multiple ways to tackle this, a cheaper option would be ' Elemental Control (Bone) (Con: Situational (Can only control target's bones after inflicting damage))' if you allow the player to use their Elemental Control power in place of other powers like Armour, Blast etc at the same rank.
