Hi all, well I have to say I am very impressed with P&P and was wondering if there is anything else in the pipeline. I guess my wish list would be:
A Villains sourcebook. There are plenty of cool looking supervillains in the core book so it would be good to have stats for them (and a few others!)
A Setting sourcebook. It would be good to have a city setting, including stats for the other supers on the rulebook (Pandora, Gatecrasher, generator etc) and possibly even a S.H.I.E.L.D. type agency.

Thanks! Happy you are enjoying.
We have a few ideas cooking, but obviously, everything depends on how things go with the core book. But a villains sourcebook would definitely be a high priority.

I really hope PnP does well. Its definitely my favourite supers system out of all of the ones I have owned. Ever since my first ever game of Golden Heroes nearly 30 years ago, I have tried a few supers games over the years and PnP seems to have the best parts of all of them. As an illustrator I am always attracted to good art and layout and for an independent publisher, I have to say you have raised the bar. When I have some I intend to start putting up some sample heroes. I also want to get a small campaign up and running with the local gaming group.

Justin,
I'm incredibly flattered, and really appreciate the kind words. When it comes to a little company like ours, word of mouth (or keyboard) is all we really have to go on, so it means the world to us. Hopefully, that;s how other folks will hear about us, and maybe some will decide to give us a shot. Thanks!
Len
PS: If you are an illustrator, please email me. We are always on the lookout, and I'm always looking to build my network of talented folks I might be able to reach out to in a pinch. Not everyone's style matches every product, but you never know. Thanks!

One thing I would like to add is that the art was really stand out in P&P. By no means is it the 'best' art that I have seen in an RPG, but it worked very well with the material that is there. It provided recognizable figures that were entertaining and made you want to play the game. A lot of small game companies do very little art, bad art, or art that does not work with the material. I was very pleased with what was here.

I second the comment. There is an ongoing debate on whether art is a factor when evaluating RPGs, but I confess that eye candy does go a way in helping me make a decision when looking at games. God knows I've picked up a stinker or two based only on the artwork. In this case, though, the art definitely helps support an already good system.

I think supers games depend even more on decent art. After all, its natural to compare any designs to DC or Marvel creations - the audience is used to seeing outstanding examples of these so often the result can look a little amateur in comparison, even for half decent artists. Fortunately PnP holds its own and I actually like the more stylised approach (not being a huge fan of super realistic stuff).

We were super lucky that Jerry Gaylord was available and on board with the project. You can find a link to his website on our website.
He did a great job of interpreting some existing designs in his unique style, and his original creations are amazing. His style is the visual equivalent of the game's reality level, which was important to us. And we did not want to look amateurish -- no art is better than bad art.

So apparently things didn't go all that well with the core rulebook after all. It's a shame because it's the best system I've seen so far.

It has been very quiet here, but that's because Len has been working hard creating P&P Ultimate Edition. Along the way, he's teamed up with Sean Patrick Fannon of Evil Beagle Games and a damn good game designer (he's the man behind Savage Rifts, for instance).
Bottom line is that Len is now part of the Evil Beagle team, and P&P UE will be arriving on Kickstarter later this year under their banner.
So don't despair, the game is still alive and kicking, and soon to be even more awesome! :-)
